Biography
Ken Stauffer is a serial entrepreneur in life and the Chair of the IEEE TAB Entrepreneurship Ad Hoc Committee helping to plan this event. His professional career spans 16 years at AT&T Bell Labs, and then another 16 years as an entrepreneur—first with a $480M startup in Florida and then with several other start-ups, which took in venture capital funding. Stauffer is currently the CEO & Co-Founder of Technology Assurance Labs.
Outside of his professional life, Stauffer was born and raised in Tanzania, speaks Swahili, taught celestial navigation, studied philosophy, was a serious rock climber, and an Actor’s Equity Stage Manager. He has been a member of IEEE for 35 years, and next year he will be an IEEE Life Member.
