Biography
Ben Deda is the Chief Operating Officer for Galvanize. Since launching its first campus in Denver in October 2012, Galvanize has expanded to seven campuses in Colorado, San Francisco, Seattle, and Austin with 2000 members and over 1000 graduates. Each campus offers industry-focused educational programs and a wealth of community resources for startups.
Previously Ben served as the VP of Sales and Business Development for FullContact, a VC backed tech startup in Denver, and launched their B2B API business.
Ben is also the co-founder and organizing chair of Denver Startup Week. In just its fourth year, Denver Startup Week had 11,000 attendees with over 210 events.
Ben has 14 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, and operations across multiple industries including manufacturing, technology, and seven years in the Marine Corps as an infantry and recruiting officer. He has an MBA from the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s of Science, Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
