Biography

Ms. Yadav-Ranjan is the Founder and Chief Executive of 4PIA, Inc. (People In Action), with over five million registered users. Ms. Yadav-Ranjan is also a member of The Committee of 200 (C200), an invitation-only membership organization of the world’s most successful women entrepreneurs and corporate innovators.

Ms. Yadav-Ranjan is a recognized thought leader, expert in innovation & digital media and has filed and been issued over 20 key industry patents, in Ecommerce On-line payments, Mobile payments, Mathematic algorithm on Construction Contractor rating and scoring; was named “One of the 100 Most Influential Business women in the Bay Area” by the San Jose Business Journal in 2009; received Commendation from City of San Jose for Entrepreneurship & Leadership in Big-Data Technologies and Appointed by the Governor to the California to the California Commission for Goods & Transportation. Rani has delivered many keynotes’ including “Future of Ecommerce in shaping the new economy”, which was widely discussed at the University of Nagasaki and was used to build Nagasaki Prefecture’s policy on Ecommerce adoption.

Ms. Yadav-Ranjan is also the Co-Founder of the Award winning, and University of California Merced Mobile App Challenge and University of California, Berkeley CITRIS Mobile App Challenge. The first of its kind, student wide, mobile device and social media application contest promoting innovation across University campus for Undergraduates in the United States. Mentoring over 1,200 students & PhD candidates; this program is now an accredited course within the University of California Merced, Davis & Berkeley. Todate, five new companies have emerged from the Mobile App Competition.
